Wow, this show really has a thing about the characters being alone. Foreman never goes home, his mom doesn't remember him half the time, and he's incapable of having a relationship. Chase's parents are both dead. Wilson lives in a freakin' hotel. House thinks love is always conditional. Cuddy can't get a real date and can't even get knocked up. Cameron I only assume is alone, too. Depressing!
So Wilson starts his (crash and burn) relationships with women by being friendly. This has been my theory for a while. I call it the Gay Best Friend Hypothesis - whenever Wilson's talking to a woman, he never looks flirty. More like, hm, a gay best friend (remember the crying nurse?) and he means it, but the ladies fall for it and jump him. Wilson has no backbone, marries them, and ditches them for House. Rinse and repeat.
Wilson/Cuddy is not going to happen, even though I was already sure. Wilson managed to avoid getting involved with anyone in the past year. Cuddy should have the sense not to get involved with him (if she's anything like the Cuddy I love/d), and House is definitely not going to let that happen.
Bonnie sounded like she was describing House and Wilson's relationship. The only difference is that Wilson ditches women to be with House =)
Is this like the first time Wilson and Foreman had a scene together? It was great. I love the mommy!Wilson and daddy!House dynamic that's developed this season.
Chase practically came onto Foreman. Huh. I thought he was about to suggest to Foreman that he open up to him (and then bug him every Tuesday). I was hoping they'd bond, considering Chase also killed a patient over a stupid (possibly dumber) mistake. Oh well.
Doris Egan really is the best at writing House and Wilson. I felt LOVE dripping from the screen (the coffee made me think of House getting Stacy coffee). And poor Wilson is still trying to take House on a date. Aww. Well, this added fuel to the fic I was already working on.
Top 10 episode.
