Pairing House/Wilson
Word Count 605
Spoilers 311 - Words and Deeds
Summary House gets back from his scam rehab and kisses Wilson; Wilson has no immediate complaints.
Today, House would be coming back from his rehab, which turned out to only be a show – not just for Tritter, but everyone, Wilson thinks bitterly. Cuddy was still extremely angry about the events, but she couldn't hide her pleasure at the idea that House would be off vicodin at long last. Wilson didn't want to see her end up disappointed, but he couldn't bring himself to tell her the truth, and that only made him angrier at himself, because Cuddy's reaction will be worse if she finds out from House.
When Wilson realized that House was smuggling vicodin, he was disappointed in House, but, somehow, he couldn't feel any anger – except toward himself, for failing to get House to kick a drug that would kill him one day. And that is what makes Wilson freeze up in fear; every day, he is thankful for Stacy's decision and knew he would have done the same, but would never say so to House.
Wilson works slowly through the paperwork on the desk and sighs; he doesn't feel a particular need to rush, because there is nothing waiting at home for him. The feeling is so miserable that Wilson wonders why House tries so damn hard to maintain it, and whether they would both ever realize the way out is right in front of them.
The door handle turns and Wilson's head snaps up; he already knows that it's House before the man enters the office. Wilson watches House gently close the door behind him. He doesn't know what to say, but House does: “I need vicodin.”
“Why, hello to you, too,” Wilson replies. “And, no. Get Voldemort to do it.”
“The idiot got caught. He's fired, now,” House says, as if the suggested course of action were a completely appropriate option. He thumps his cane against the floor for a bit, appearing to be in deep thought, then finally says, “Fine. That's okay,” and gets up to leave.
Wilson gets a sinking feeling in his stomach and stands up, ready to stop House. “Is that it? 'Okay'?”
For a moment, House pauses at the door, considering something, then turns back around. “No, there was one more thing.” He walks around the desk and stands in front of Wilson, whose breathing quickly becomes irregular, and looks him in the eyes, leaning in a bit.
“What are you...?” Wilson starts to ask, but House has placed his hand behind Wilson's neck and pulled him in for a very deep kiss. This isn't exactly the time or place, nor how Wilson would have liked it to happen, but he doesn't care, because his mind has gone blank completely and immediately. All he can think of is right now, House's body pressed against his, the stubble rubbing against his jaw.
He wraps his arms around House and returns the kiss. Wilson feels House's hands wandering, and the reasonable part of his mind knows that he'll end up going as far as House wants, right in this office, because he can't say no to House, no matter how irresponsible or destructive the action.
House's pager goes off suddenly, making Wilson jump; they break apart, and stare at each for a long moment, the room filled with only sounds of their breath and the pager's ring, then House leaves without a word.
It takes some time for Wilson to realize that House couldn't have had any pages that day and that he didn't even look at the pager, but only a little longer than it took to realize another one of his prescription pads went missing.

::hits House with a rolled up newspaper::
Bad House! Bad!
::hugs Wilson::
Unless House is unconscious and Wilson takes advantage of him, of course. :)
Very nice. Subtle and well-motivated.
Thanks!
If a kiss were ever to play out like that, I'd hope Wilson would finally give up on House--for his own emotional health.
Sometimes I wonder why I defend Wilson so vehemently, and then I remember--because House won't. *kicks him*
XD Thanks.
I need to go write an evil!Wilson story now...
...Or is it? Dun dun dun!
That... took me by surprise. He would do that, though, the bastard.
Hm, now I kind of wish that this did happen during the Tritter arc.
