It's not that they need to follow up on it, I'd just like some awareness of previous episodes. If something was going to happen, and because this is television, they are required to hint at things in the most blatant way possible. I'd rather that not be the case, but really, think about it. How many people don't agree with us? And how many of them would totally think that this came out of left field if it ever really did happen? Television, unfortunately, has to cover it's ass, and the way to do that is to make sure that everyone is quite aware of everything. There's no such thing as a surprise.
And I do agree that there was closure of some sorts with the Tritter thing, but I'd like something more realistic to happen. No one goes through that sort of legal thing and comes out completely unscathed.
