This show is clearly meant to drive us all up the wall. The timeline I'm trying to put together now is admittedly a bit vague, because I am making two assumptions: 1) Wilson is the same age as RSL (39) and 2) Wilson completed high school, college, and med school at a more-or-less normal speed.
But canon left so much vague, we can all think whatever the hell we want. And this is what I choose to think!
1958
- House's parents get married.
- Blythe has a little too much fun while John's gone and House is conceived!
1959
- House is born.
1969
- Wilson is born.
1992
- House moves into his current apartment at 221B.
1994
- Wilson completes medical school. (McGill? Or Columbia? Then he's in/around New York City?)
- Wilson starts going through a divorce with his STILL UNNAMED (GYAH) first wife.
- House and Wilson meet. Love at first sight. Iconicness. Yay.
- House is unable to diagnose Ester.
1995
- House is hired at PPTH by previous Dean of Medicine
- House meets Stacy. Paintball. Strip club. Move in together after a week.
- Last time Wilson sees his LLB.
1996
- House is hired by Cuddy at PPTH
1999
- House is fired from PPTH
- Cuddy becomes Dean of Medicine (or the following year)
2000
- The Infarction. Stacy leaves. Wilson picks up the pieces.
- House is made department head; alternatively, House is re-hired by Cuddy, who is now Dean of Medicine
2004 (Start of Series)
2006
- Wilson starts going through a divorce with Julie.
2008
- Amber dies. *sob*
- HOUSE/WILSON ICONIC MAKE-UP.

I refuse to believe House wouldn't obsess over Wilson in most situations if he were moping over LLB. But if they've only been friends for a few months and House is obsessing over Stacy, and Wilson's working at another hospital, well. Understandable XD
If Wilson's at another hospital when they meet (yes, an assumption, but I think it's a safe one), when the hell does Wilson go to PPTH? NO. MORE QUESTIONS!!1!
But, show! You repeatedly imply House has met all three wives! Okay. Two ideas: Either House is enough of an ass to harass this poor woman who never met him, after she and Wilson are divorced. Or...maybe she and Wilson decide to give it another go, and their marriage goes down in flames anyway, with the extra added burden of House. (Oh...oh. Plot bunnies...)
Dude. Wilson was married during med school. I don't know why this completely blows my mind.
Yeah. I'm sure there's more rationalizing to be done. But I am satisfied right now.

This is now my canon. Cuz this way it can be House Wilson was talking about when he told Cameron he cheated cuz he met someone who made him feel good and funny.

First of all... I have NO WORDS for how awesome it is to see canon House-Wilson backstory in a timeline at last! I love our show!
Wow, so, I guess this would suggest that Wilson was 25-ish and House was 35-ish when they first met? Now I really want to see/draw some fanart of the two of them that much younger.

Ooh-- There's also the slim possibility that House somehow knew wife # 1 before he knew Wilson, and then (either through coincidence, or because he felt the need to stalk her ex-husband) he and Wilson eventually met. And Wilson, somehow, never found out that House was acquainted with his first wife.
I love the other two ideas, though. No matter which way you go, Wife #1 could make for some seriously interesting fic... *g*
