Wilson's clothes being SCATTERED AROUND HOUSE'S ROOM was not addressed, as I feared would be the case. *sigh* But the clothes were there, and the shirt is definitely Wilson's...and not a hallucination? Because it's there after Amber disappears. A teeny tiny part of my slasher mind holds onto hope some kind of explanation comes up in the next two eps, especially with Doris Egan and all. But not banking on it.

At least between that kind of oddity, episodes like "Don't Ever Change" and "Wilson's Heart," and House talking about his "secret, very unconscious desire"...to himself...really take this pairing so far from simple pandering. TPTB put a little too much thought into it.

Anyway.

AMBER WAS EPIC. I love the dark, creepy twist the show took there. I just wish people would keep it straight that this isn't really Amber (mainly Amber-haters seem to have limited comprehension of this). I loved loved loved seeing Anne Dudek play off Hugh Laurie again. Good times. I'll be screencapping like crazy tomorrow afternoon, and filing away this episode for fanvideo fodder in the future.

So much I loved about the episode, but I'm stuck on House, Wilson, and Amber...*points to icon* No surprise there, though.

Wilson in his underwear was great - I got to see his legs, but he kept his shirt on =( And the spoiler said he was going to dance. (Oh, wait...I think he did dance in his underwear, we the viewers just didn't realize he was pantless at the time.) And the mental image of him wandering the streets without pants on...PRICELESS.

And...MORE INFORMATION ABOUT WILSON. He married Bonnie 9 years ago, and he eloped with Julie. (BUT WHAT'S THE NAME OF THE FIRST WIFE? THIS IS MY OBSESSION.) Looking at my timeline, Wilson married Bonnie right around the infarction. I guess the fanwank that Wilson was on his honeymoon on the time has merit...oh, and oh snap! The Hector timeline is once again proven wrong wrong wrong. Yes, I really hate that timeline.

What did Wilson do with that duck? And what's with the running duck joke this season? The world may never know.

When Wilson walked out of the bachelor party, for a minute I thought he was going to accidently go into the bathroom and we'd get a really bizarre H/W scene. Alas.

So...House is guilty about Amber's death. Guilty about Kutner's death. Thinks he wants to kill Chase...that conversation with hallucination!Amber where she kept suggesting they kill everyone seems, um, less funny. Poor House. (Even though he was a total douche to his patient.)

And House/Cameron shippers are a sad bunch. The show really sunk the ship the first time in "Love Hurts." And then again, you know, with the Stacy arc. And again in season 3. And again in season 4. And again this season. There's still more than enough room to write fics and AUs about them, but don't expect the show to keep it going five seasons in o_O; And if you seriously think "I don't want Cameron" is going to have any affect on the ratings...you're delusional. Yikes.

Not looking for to Huddy!sex, but I'll give the TPTB credit for making me look forward to next week - one, hallucination!Amber. Two, creepy!hallucination!Amber. Three, House tells Wilson's what's going on; there's no way that won't be GREAT. Four, Cuddy and the House/Cuddy pairing are going to come out looking bad. Either Cuddy doesn't know House well enough that she sleeps with him while he's CRAZY, or she's just a predator.

But, you know, mainly hallucination!Amber =D
