Oh god, I'm so sick of the constant Amy = stripper and/or prostitute bullshit. I like Karen's description of "alpha female", it's right on the money. Amy is a smart, curious girl who wants to escape her small town and really doesn't have a problem with using her looks. She's confident enough to wear provocative outfits (and ogle the Doctor), and I like that about her. Just because she does something a little bit naughty for a living doesn't make her a "slut" or "whore" or "prostitute" or "stripper". Stop it, Whofandom, with the slut-shaming.

It's a little suspicious that everyone just looooves Rory, when we know a hell of a lot less about him than we do about Amy. (He's observant, and he's more into Amy than vice-versa. That's it.)

Seriously? That just boggles my mind. To me, he's just background. I mean, I know he's Amy's fiance. I know we'll see more of him in "Vampires of Venice" and so I'll reserve judgment until we do. But how can fandom adore him when we've seen so little of him?

Not liking River Song because "IDK," and when pressed, "she's too smug" or "she's arrogant," all suspiciously couched in a strange amount of venom and sounding vaguely like "she's too uppity."

Did fandom somehow MISS the Tenth Doctor?! Smug. As. Hell. I liked River in "Silence in the Library"/"Forest of the Dead", and from what I've seen of her in the trailer for the Weeping Angels two-parter, I'm going to adore her even more. I don't see her as arrogant, just playful. It's not every day one gets to one-up the Doctor.

River Song is pretty much a cross between a female!Doctor and a female!Jack

I really, really want her to end up being girl!Twelve or something. She is very, very Doctorlike, and there's no one you'd trust more than yourself, right?

That someone like Sally Sparrow would be a better recurring character. Seriously, I'm convinced Sally Sparrow is only so popular because she's conventionally attractive and pretty much a cipher

Am I the only person in the entire fandom who just does not give a frak about Sally Sparrow? She was a one-off character. She wasn't that interesting. "Blink" is a scary episode and it's got some lovely moments, but it's not the ZOMG BEST EPISODE EVAR.
