Yeah, so, I have to warn anyone who likes this show...it'll probably die soon, because I LOVE it. And that's what happens to TV shows I love this much.
I know, I know, a little early to be declaring my undying devotion to the show, but I at least I managed to resist posting this immediately after the pilot. Don't even look at my Tumblr. It will disgust you.
Well it's NBC so anything could happen. Hopefully, it will make it through the season. I haven't watched it, but I liked the promos (I found the Undercovers promos more interesting than the rest of NBC's new shows. I know everyone is comparing it to Mr and Mrs Smith, but the premise reminds me of the '80s drama Hart to Hart. I mean that as a compliment.)
I've been looking at TV by the Numbers, and they have it about 50/50 on the renew/cancel index.
I know everyone is comparing it to Mr and Mrs Smith, but the premise reminds me of the '80s drama Hart to Hart. I mean that as a compliment. Then you are winner, because that's what the show was inspired by! (I should probably try to see some of it, since I seem to have a thing for spy couples...)
This show is utterly awesome. It does seem weird though that the number one aspect of it that they keep advertising is the prettiness of the two leads.
I just like the marriage that is happy without being perfect or on the verge of falling into the angst pit. I love Hoyt who is the butt of jokes while still being portrayed as very competent. I love the catering company, Sam's sister, and the way Sam and Steve banter and argue. The entire world closes in on just them.
I just like the marriage that is happy without being perfect or on the verge of falling into the angst pit. This is something I really love about it. I really, really hate the idea that long-term relationships in fiction = boring.

It's not your fault! You're not killing them with love, it's just that you have eclectic taste!

Oh, that's what they're calling it these days. =p

I really hope this isn't canceled.
